IPlanet is one of Italy's fastest-growing electric vehicle charging networks, established in April 2024 through a joint venture between Italiana Petroli (IP), Italy’s leading private operator in the fuels and mobility sector, and EV Asset Holding, an infrastructure investment vehicle. The company designs, builds, and operates fast and ultra-fast charging stations, with the aim of converting over 500 traditional service stations into multi-service hubs.
Alongside charging infrastructure, IPlanet integrates on-site solar generation and battery storage with complementary services such as food & beverage, retail, and car care, turning charging time into time well spent.
IPlanet is held through EV Asset Holding by the Tages Helios Net Zero Fund, an Article 9 fund under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) dedicated to renewable energy and the energy transition, managed by Tages Capital SGR S.p.A., alongside Spanish asset manager Bestinver (Acciona Group).
IPlanet's mission is to accelerate the transition to electric mobility in Italy by making ultra-fast charging fast, intuitive, and accessible to everyone. We are rethinking the service station model to put the needs of electric vehicle drivers at the centre, adding to the charging experience with services designed for the clients. Looking ahead, our priority is to continue expanding our network with the same discipline and pace that has guided us so far, in line with our plan for more than 3,000 ultra-fast charging points across our stations over the coming years.
